How could your coverage needs have changed?
With the new school year in full swing, it is a great time to review your insurance. Do you have a child that just got their driver's license? Or headed off to college to live in the dorms? Keep your family safe by taking a second look at your insurance and making sure you're covered.
Do you have a new driver in your household? If they haven’t taken a driver safety course (or if anyone else in your family hasn’t either!) consider signing up for a class to help lower your rate. Take a peek at our very first newsletter for more information on how!
Additionally, you may want to consider the Erie Insurance Join the Shift
program. The goal of this program is to use interactive online tools to encourage safe driving, especially with young drivers.
If your kids are off to college, you may want to look into the College Student Discount offered by Erie Insurance. In New York, unmarried, full-time college students who spend most of the college term away from home without the use of a car may be eligible for a discount.
And since you probably helped them pack, you know how much a college student brings to fill their new empty dorm room. It won't take long for their new space to be crammed full, and we all know that the value of possessions adds up quickly. It's a good idea to take a second look at your policy to make sure the items you think are included actually are.
To review your policies, contact our office at (585) 589-4477, or drop by at 30 North Main Street, Albion.
