Humble beginnings bring much fruit!

Today we started a kids' class at the mission here in Tarimoro, Guanajuato. When the class was scheduled to start, there were three children here: two of them live here. But as they began to sing and clap, more children arrived. Now there's a nice group around the table working on a craft about love: how we show love to others and how God showed His love to us.

Magda, who attends our weekly Bible studies, brought her daughter and stayed to help Cristina with the class. No other moms came with their kids, which is kind of strange for this culture, but one dad came. Awesome! All the menfolk, Doug, Ricardo, Edwin and Hector are sitting in the living room as I type this. They're all praying together!!!

Praise God for the relationships that we are building here.

Please continue to pray that God would open doors and hearts to hear the Good News!

Also pray for Kevin, a pastor and friend from Oregon, who will be arriving here this weekend. We'll be heading to Patla in a week to teach the Romans Workshop and to share with area churches a vision for Mexican missions in Central Asia.

Pray for the part of our team which is leaving to travel and teach as well as the part that will be staying here to work in the mission.
