President Message

Greetings from WAHA. Summer has come to an end and fall is in the air! Congratulations to all of those who have competed throughout the summer season! Please send photos and any story you would like featured to Karissa Held at diamond.arabians@gmail.com. We love sharing stories of our members.

We had our annual WAHA August Show at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds. The show included All-breed classes, western dressage, dressage, pleasure, fun, and more! Lots of ribbons were awarded and lots of our members had a wonderful weekend. Thank you to our judges Dr. Karlan Downing and Carol Bishop for helping make our show a success. A huge thank you goes out to our volunteer show committee who put in lots of hours of time to make the show come together. Our show committee is already hard at work looking at what out show season will look like next year.

Next weekend is our annual Fall Colors Open Show at Walworth County Fairgrounds on Oct 9, 2021. Joann Ace-Schraufnagel will be judging this year! Show sponsorships are still available, please see the form in the show book!

As the season comes to end, don’t forget final Points System results must be submitted, our Ambassador Award Nominations and our New Volunteer Scholarship applications must be completed by October 31, 2021. Enjoy the fall season and good luck to those competing in the upcoming events!

Sincerely,

Jessica Dillingham
WAHA President
