Eid Clothes, Food, School Bags, and Free Haircuts For Kids
MY Project USA Family, Peace and blessings unto you,
Today is the Day of Arafat (Day of Pilgrimage/Hajj) Many Columbus Muslim community members are fasting and the community is getting ready to celebrate Eid-al-Adha (Holiday of Sacrifice) tomorrow. Kids are also getting ready to go back to school. Tonight, there would have been hundreds of children and families on the Westside of Columbus that would not have access to nice meals, good/new school supplies and nice clothes, if it were not for MY Project USA.
We are prepared today, but we need more help.
Our youth leaders, Qali Ahmed and Inaya Hussain, have packed up about 200 bags with the help of their friends and family. Thanks to Raifa Alhag-Ali for mentoring them as a big sister.
MY Deah's manager Aziza Kassim is prepared to take Eid clothes to the neighborhood. We will take as many as possible. More volunteers can make a bigger difference.
Coach Siyat Mohamed and other new young guy leaders from Wedgewood are prepared to serve the meals and give free haircuts to kids.
We are still short of meals. If you are in Columbus, please sign up now to donate food or to volunteer your time this evening. If you'are outside Columbus, you can still donate by noon today and we will get cooked food on your behalf.
Eid and Hajj Mubarak to all Muslims in our family. May you all have a blessed time with your loved ones. May all your good deeds, prayers and sacrifices are accepted and you are rewarded by Allah.
In Solidarity with Youth and Families,

Zinia Rehman Talks About Her Balls Not Drugs Fundraiser
Our outstanding youth leader Zinia Rehman raised $400 to support our Soccer Ball Drive in Ramadan. Please watch her video and send her meassages through us.
Congratulations to Zinia for this successful fundraising and her wonderful parents, Furqan Rehman and Tabassum Rehman, for their support.
We are constantly looking for youth leaders to take on different initiatives as their projects. If you are a youth or you know one that wants to make a difference like Zinia did, please sign up to volunteer and request a meeting with Sr. Zerqa Abid. She helps a youth find their leadership niche.
