The Vision and Mission:

The Two Sides of MY Project USA

Protecting our Present. Investing in to Our Future.

Dear Family,

MY Project USA has two major sides and many dimensions. One, we are protecting our vulnerable youth and families. Two, we are fostering all youth as strong community activists, political leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and above all patriotic Americans.

On one hand, our initiatives, MY Family Pantry, MY Soup Kitchen, MY Deah's store, and others help take care of  food, clothing and other instant needs of our undeserved, vulnerable children.  Such initiatives help protect them from drug dealers, pimps and gangs.

On the other hand, we have created opportunities for our youth to get involved in mainstream community activism. So far, we have trained more than 200 youth leaders through various workshops, activities, and events  in last 20 months, Voter registration drive, MY Earth Action Days, Adoption of Sullivant Ave,. and keeping Columbus clean, MY Landscaping Services, #MYProjectisUSA 2016 Conference, Presentations at various local conferences and participation in the city and county events are just some examples of such opportunities that we have provided to our youth and young adults.

This side helps us address both Islamophobia and radicalization. We are one of the very few Muslim organizations in the US that are solely focused on the youth leadership development as their main business. We are proud to foster strong Muslim youth that are building a stronger, just and more inclusive America.

Columbus is our pilot city. In last 20 months have made remarkable progress here. In 2015- 16, we built a team and a system to take care of urgent and basic needs of the at-risk and in-need-of-help community. In 2017, we will create more teams and systems to focus on economic & social development of the community:

  • Job Trainings & Employments
  • Parents Support & Empowerment
  • Youth Leadership Development

We are truly grateful for your presence in our project and hope  that you will continue supporting us for years to come. Thank you.

MY Family Pantry Passed 10,200+ Healthy Meals & Snacks in December

We Are Low on Rice & Flour - You Can Help Us Continue Feeding the Needy This Winter - Adopt A Family Now
We are truly grateful for the Almighty's support and your presence in our project. Together, in December, we were able to distribute enough food to make approximately 10,200 meals for more than 200 families in December. Please see the pantry tracker's report below.

If you haven't contribute yet, please consider contributing now. If you have already donated one time, we would like to request you two things:
  1. If you have not done so, please consider becoming a monthly pantry donor. Click Here.
  2. Please ask your family and friends to help us as well.
So far, we have raised only $5927. We have used about $ 4000 from this amount during December. We still need  another $12,000 to make sure that we could take care of these and more families through this winter. Their support will help us buy dry staples like rice, flour, sugar along with vegetable oil. This is an absolute minimum for any grocery list and we want to make sure that we do provide these to our unfortunate brothers and sisters.

We pray that with God's help you are able to draw some more attention to our pantry.

Approximate # meals & snacks distributed in December: 10,200 plus

Each Saturday, we are offering different classes, workshops and activities to various segments of the community that would help these moms and dads, boys and girls, old and young in their paths to have a successful, prosperous life. This would help them in their fight against the pimps, drug dealers and other criminals in their neighborhood.
