Don't Forget your Bags!
Beginning January 1, 2023, Colorado will begin charging 10 cents for each single-use plastic and paper bag used at checkout. The new law aims at preventing single-use bags and containers from polluting Colorado’s beautiful landscape.
You can avoid the new fee by bringing your own reusable bags when you shop. If you participate in SNAP and other similar programs, you will not have to pay a bag fee as long as you can provide proof to the store.
Food pantries are not required to charge a fee for bags, but we want to do our part by encouraging our shoppers to use reusable bags.
Please remember to bring reusable bags every time you shop in the pantry.

We've Joined the Link2Feed Network
Connecting families to food and resources!
We’re partnering with Food Bank of the Rockies and joininghundreds of other food pantries in Colorado that use Link2Feed to help families get the food and resources they need quicker, easier and with fewer forms and paperwork.
In April, Community Table transitioned to the Link2Feed client registration system and started issuing barcoded pantry cards. The “barcode” is your ticket to accessing food and resources at Community Table and other Link2Feed pantries without completing more paperwork. Link2Feed offers convenient online registration and information and materials in English, Russian, Vietnamese, Spanish and French.
Sharing basic information about your household can help make the Link2Feed network more robust and connected. The more information we have, the better services and resources we can recommend to help you and your family. And the collective data will help us better understand hunger in our community and develop much-needed programs and services. Link2Feed is safer than storing information on paper and has high-security standards similar to banks. All information is kept private and is never shared with the government or any outside party.
Your privacy is important to us. We do not share information with anyone unless authorized by you.
FREE Books
Next time you shop in our pantry, you can pick up books for your family! Thanks to BookGive, we have books for all ages that are FREE to take home, keep and enjoy.
BookGive is a local book charity dedicated to sparking a lifelong love of reading by supplying the community with free books. They distribute new and gently used books from their service station to individuals, schools and nonprofits throughout metro Denver.
