AYLESBURY GARDEN TOWN NEWS

Time is running out to join one of this week's Community Conversations

Aylesbury Gardenway

Community Conversations
Three themed online discussions on the Aylesbury Gardenway will be held this week providing an opportunity for people to get involved and to share their local knowledge, expertise, suggestions, ideas and thoughts.

Following a presentation from the design team there will be an open discussion on the key topic being discussed and a chance for you to share your views.

The discussions will take place online via Zoom and will be held at 6pm – 7.30pm on the following dates:

Monday 7 December, 6pm – Nature, climate change and history
The topic for this discussion is on how we can better support wildlife and improve biodiversity, and how Aylesbury's history should be protected and celebrated.

Let us know what makes Aylesbury important and what actions can be taken to create better environments for wildlife and to protect against climate change.

Tuesday 8 December, 6pm - Health and community
The health and wellbeing of our communities is so important and we want to create an Aylesbury that is inclusive and to ensure that all residents enjoy a high quality of life.

The topic for this discussion is on health and community and we want to hear where you would like to see more, or better, plays areas, sports facilities, community food growing schemes, or outdoor learning spaces?

Wednesday 9 December, 6pm – Active travel
We know that making it safer and more fun for people to walk, wheel, and cycle is really important to #Aylesbury residents.  Let us know how the Gardenway can be designed to encourage more people to walk and cycle around Aylesbury.
How can we create a useful, attractive and safe walking and cycling route, for everyone in the community, from running clubs, school children, commuters, and ramblers.

You are welcome to join all conversations that are important to you and we would really value your input.

To join any of the above sessions you will need to register on the www.aylesbury.co website. To register to get involved click here.
