STUDENT STORY FEATURE
Meet Milky, an exemplary 7th grader at Capitol Hill Magnet School full of energy and curiosity. An aspiring cosmologist, astrophysicist, writer, journalist, and musical theater actress, Milky is a young woman of many talents and interests with ambitious goals for her future.
While attending a Montessori School for elementary school, Milky had an inspiring science teacher who ignited her passion for science, and she has continued to thrive as a student ever since. She speaks highly of her BTC teachers, who understand her well and make learning incredibly fun.

Beyond her Teaching Fellows, Milky loves BTC for the trust that fellow BTC students share. As she puts it, "BTC is the ideal model of a learning space." Milky is beyond excited to return to BTC for the summer and explore new electives, strengthen friendships, and continue on her path to college!
