Dear fellow innovators,
For these past weeks we have enjoyed working on our Wisdom page to make it more engaging, fun and encouraging you to explore. Did it work? Let us knowOnce on the page you might also like to have a look at the latest additions, articles about a user centred design approach that leads to innovative solutions, the impact of employee engagement on company performance and an interview where Bettina explains the chances and challenges of the innovation journey.
We have also shared a conversation that Bettina conducted with Dr. Arndt Pechstein, the founder of Biomimicry Germany. Arndt, who is also part of the ILF's Friends, has a very interesting journey, starting with a PhD in neuroscience, that was later followed by a certificate in biomimicry and becoming a Design Thinking Coach at the D School in Potsdam. In his (other) organisation, phi360, he brings it all to bear to help organisations move towards sustainability-driven innovation.

The FutureFest, organised by NESTA in London March this year, was an event at which  thought leaders, such as Edward Snowden and Vivienne Westwood, gathered to share ideas, talks, and interactive performances to inspire people to change and shape the future. Nesta is making podcasts of some of the event’s discussions as well as interviews with the people behind them available online. This week’s podcast explores happiness, rides, and travelling through time with talks, comedy, and interviews from the festival. Find out more here.

Bettina has just come back from teaching on the MBI at DEUSTO Business School, and cannot help but promoting this course... Anyone interested in deepening their knowledge of innovation, be inspired and take some time out to think and reflect in amazing company (with culturally diverse people whose average age this year was 44!) and amazing locations (Bilbao, Florence, Cambridge, Madrid) - or wants to get their staff inspired - should consider this. If you are interested, let us know as we might be able to put in a good word for you (though the selection process is tough) and even get you a little ILF discount ;-)!

Finally, how is this for an exciting opportunity: a job at Nike in Portland, Oregon!  Have a look at the job ad online!
