Remember T* who I asked you guys to pray for a little while ago? Please keep praying for him! When he started working again, it was somewhat hard for me and Craig to meet with him for further discipleship as his work schedule changed a lot. But then it was like we couldn't get in touch with him at all. This was somewhat discouraging, but later we learned that he had been in a bad car accident that left him unconscious for 5 days and he had to recover for a few weeks in his bed. When we heard this, we were quite concerned, but it also explained why he couldn't meet for so long.
We've since reconnected and he's recovering well and we've been able to spend time with him and pray with him. We've been able to read more of the bible too and celebrate the fact that the rest of his seven family members will be moving here in the next month or two. We're praying that his family comes to Christ and that we can help them be church together as there are few churches of their people group anywhere in the world let alone Durham.
Our Sunday Simple Church meeting outside and praying together
As we have been navigating these different Covid times, it seems like God has been up to something great. It almost feels like ministry has been even more fruitful! We have always wanted to start simple churches to disciple those who didn't want to go to existing churches, but since a lot of churches haven't been meeting, we seem to be accumulating more and more people as we meet in homes to be the church.
More than that, we've started to see people gather family, co-workers, neighbors, and friends to start new churches in their own homes too. This has been exciting to see and to know that God is bringing more laborers who really want to share the gospel. All of these new gatherings include non-believers who want to learn more about Jesus or new believers who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus.
🙏PRAY for T* as he continues to recover and that his family would also come to know God as he did 🙏PRAY for that these new churches getting started would see new people come to know Christ and be discipled
...pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you. -- 2 Thessalonians 3:1
I am able to work for e3 Partners in Raleigh-Durham (RDU) in the ministry that God has called me to because of financial supporters who give regularly. I greatly appreciate all of these people and if God leads you to give towards the work He is doing in RDU (ongoing or one-time gifts are appreciated!) click through the e3 partners logo here:
