A No Place Left Houston Update

Getting prayed over!
Last Saturday, I had a send-off party with many of my friends from Houston. It was a great time to celebrate what God has done over the past few years in Houston in advancing the gospel. The No Place Left Houston Coalition commissioned me out and layed hands to pray over me. That was great, but what was even better was that I got to lay hands on two men who God has raised up as leaders to not only be disciple-makers, but to train others to be disciple-makers as well.

JV and David have a great vision to continue to share the gospel and multiply disciples after I leave. This moment felt a lot like what I read about in Acts. Paul always appointed leaders to continue the work of the ministry whenever he left a city that he had been working in (Acts 14:23). I look forward to staying in touch with them (like Paul did with the churches he started) to hear how God continues to work through them.

I have been reflecting on my time in Houston over the past week and as I looked back upon the last four years, I realized that during that time, over 30,000 people have heard the gospel through the efforts of No Place Left Houston. I know that this is just a fraction of the work that God is doing in the city, and it only just starts to impact the lostness in the city, but I am so excited to know that the life changing message of Jesus has been going out abundantly over the last few years and will continue to do so after I'm gone!
It will take me about two weeks to fully transition to Raleigh, NC. For the first part of this time, I will be on vacation, but then I will visit another No Place Left Team in Utah. I hope to spur them on with some of the things that I have learned in Houston. After that, I am super duper looking forward to joining the No Place Left Raleigh-Durham (RDU) team!

I am able to work for e3 Partners in Houston in the ministry that God has called me to because of financial supporters who give regularly. I greatly appreciate all of these people and if God leads you to give towards the work He is doing in Houston (ongoing or one-time gifts are appreciated!) click through the e3 partners logo here:
