A No Place Left Raleigh Update

Gospel sharing team continuing to go out and share with the lost around us!
Part of the beauty of being involved in a ministry that revolves around small gatherings of disciples, leaders, and gospel sharers is that we are incredibly adaptable to change! So we keep meeting and going out sharing even though most of the churches in the area can't meet!

Only now when I ask to pray for people, a higher percentage of them tell me that the world is about to end. So that's always a fun conversation.

An exciting recent development is that Aretha, a new believer who I baptized late last year and who we have been meeting with to disciple, has finally started coming out gospel sharing with us in her neighborhood...
When we asked to pray for Cody (red shirt above), she shared that her mother just recently got murdered. Aretha (white jacket above) hugged Cody for a full minute while she prayed for her and shared how much God loves her. Aretha shared how Jesus has brought her through similar, difficult circumstances in life. We then got to share a story about Jesus from the Bible with Cody
The goal is to make disciples who make disciples, so Aretha joining us is exactly what you and I have been praying for! God has used her mightily already to boldly pray for people and share her testimony. A lot of the people we talk to have pretty broken pasts involving drugs, abuse, and broken families and Aretha can share her story in a powerful way because she has experienced all of that herself (just read the caption above!)

🙏 PRAY that Aretha would continue to come sharing and that more new believers would gather with us in her home!

Besides our usual ministry tasks, this past month, I and my No Place Left teammates have had to walk in a lot more pastoral care than I am used to. I appreciate God stretching me and us in this way as I think this is an essential part of discipleship. However, walking with people who have great physical and emotional needs is not something I am used to. So...

🙏 PRAY that God would give us wisdom on how to help those we disciple and how to point them to Jesus

...pray for us, that the word of the Lord may speed ahead and be honored, as happened among you. -- 2 Thessalonians 3:1
I am able to work for e3 Partners in Raleigh-Durham (RDU) in the ministry that God has called me to because of financial supporters who give regularly. I greatly appreciate all of these people and if God leads you to give towards the work He is doing in RDU (ongoing or one-time gifts are appreciated!) click through the e3 partners logo here:
