Melbourne was first, with Sydney up next, and we will visit other Australian capital cities between now and October.
We have received a high level of interest from a number of other people and organisations, who were not eligible to attend the limited free workshops, and who missed out on the first set of fee for service workshops. So, due to popular demand, we are running these in Melbourne again! These are open to anyone in the disability sector. Because we can't use our project money to run these workshops we are charging a modest fee to help us cover the costs.
Is this for other cities too?
Sydney yes, other cities - we're not sure yet. If we get enough interest we may be able to run these in other capital cities too. We'll let you know in our eNews, and on our website, Facebook, and Twitter when we know more. You can also email email@example.com to register your interest, and if we get enough interest we will add you to the waiting list for your city.
Learn more about the new Melbourne workshops below.
We hope you find our website and eNews useful, helpful, and easy to use. We always welcome your feedback.
NDIS Train the Trainer workshops - special workshops for service providers and others from the disability sector
The NDIS ‘transition to full Scheme’ is upon us. Are you on top of the changes this will bring, including the brand-new changes to the NDIS Participant Pathway? Due to strong demand, the Australian Federation of Disability Organisation (AFDO) Disability Loop project is pleased to offer workshops for people in the disability sector who work directly to inform and support people with disability and their families.
These 6 half-day ‘Train the Trainer’ workshops will provide the up-to-date, detailed information and resources businesses and organisations need to better inform people with disability and families about the NDIS.
