Kate has worked at the HSUS and the ASPCA in the past, as well as at animal shelters. Her writing has appeared in “Animal Sheltering,” ”All Animals,” and local pet magazines (while on staff and also as a freelancer). Kate won a CWA MUSE Medallion and the ASPCA Humane (special) Award in 2007, and a Certificate of Excellence in 2016.

Tonia writes, “Cats are my passion and they have been since I was a little girl. I've also made a career focused on cat care - for 20 years I was a cat care specialist, in my business The Kitty's Corner, where I did cat sitting, boarding and grooming. Last year I developed cat allergies and it opened up an opportunity for me to do more writing and video producing - which I love! I want to become a pet reporter and magazine style writer/producer for media packages. I produce and host PurrView TV Show which airs on over 43 cable access stations across the USA. We have underwriters that provide support for the show. I won first place in the Alliance for Community Media Video Festival NE for my Cat TV Show Purr View, in News/Magazine np. I also produce and get paid for cat adoption and cat health segments from PCN a local news show.”

Jeremy is the author of 9 humor gift books, including the cat-focused books “Sorry I Barfed on Your Bed” and “Sorry I Slept on Your Face.” He has been close with animals since he was a child, and enjoys sharing his humor and insights with other cat lovers.
