Greetings, CWA Members! This is a "test" message from Amy Shojai in a trial run of a MailChimp version of our CWA Digital Mews (plain Jane for now but serves the purpose!).
Wendy's latest membership list has been uploaded to the new CWA Mailchimp account so all members should receive this message. I'm just testing it--someone who actually knows what they're doing will take the driver's seat and lead the project into the future, I hope, and know better how to best leverage this shiny-new-toy communication system.
This Digital Mews issue goes beyond the "test" though, and is a SPONSOR UPDATE.
Last week we sent out sponsor solicitation letters to last year's generous supporters with our 2015-16 CWA Sponsorship Package. We have verbal commitments thus far from the following:
Pet Sitters International: $500 general
Precious Cat: $500 general
TICA: $1500 ($500 Kari Winters Award, $1000 general, an increase!)
World's Best Litter: $500 award
CATalyst Council: $350 full page ad in con materials
Shojai Mentor: $500 award
Two of last year's sponsors, ASPCA and PETCO, require a grant application, and those are in progress.
I'm delighted so many confirmed so quickly in less than a week! Stay tuned--we're working on putting together extra perks for those re-upping early and it'll be a kewl benefit to members, too.
If you know of pet products/services companies or individuals who might benefit from a CWA sponsorship relationship, please don't hesitate to contact Prez. Marci or Con.Chair Amy Shojai (that's me!) with suggestions and any contact or other pertinent information.
