Dear members, future members, stakeholders and fellow Knysna residents,

The Greater Knysna Business Chamber calls for unity amongst the businesses and community of the greater Knysna area during these very challenging times we are currently facing in South Africa. At a time when business and individuals are struggling to stay afloat and keep their staff employed, it is vital that we work for peace, unity and progression.
We need to support the law enforcement efforts of the authorities but at the same time take action to support our local community efforts. It is only though community action that we will stand strong and grow as a community. Every job that supports an individual and their family is important and we cannot afford to lose any jobs or opportunities for growth due to lawlessness, inaction or incompetency.
The effects of COVID have been devastating for many but many have adapted their businesses, their efforts and their operations to make it work as best they can. Let us not allow the threat of violence and looting to discourage us or be an excuse for general lawlessness. Let us build on the positives and share resources and ideas to continue to improve and grow Knysna for the benefit of all.
There are many NGO's, businesses and individuals who have hope for the future and who are committed to supporting and building up the community of Knysna.  As such the Greater Knysna Business Chamber has joined a syndicate of NGO's, businesses, schools, and community members who have resolved to continue serving the needs of those in need. The group's mission is to encourage:
• Sharing of ideas, resources and encouragement
• Continuing to serve those in need
• To maximise collaboration efforts
