The summer season is upon us! With warmer weather comes a flurry of fun outdoor and educational events.  Take a minute to peruse the list of upcoming events for July and August - we hope you can join us for one or many!

Monday Music at Tidal Falls
Concert Times: 6:30-8:00 pm

The 2015 Monday Music schedule is in place and begins July 6! Frenchman Bay Conservancy invites you to enjoy these free public concerts.  Plan to bring a picnic meal and beverages with you or buy something from the new food cart vendor, Thyme Traveler.

DIRECTIONS:  From Ellsworth travel north 8 miles on US Route 1 to the village of Hancock. Go through the village, turn right onto Eastside Road, go .7 mile to Tidal Falls Road, turn left and drive to the end of the road.  From Sullivan, Eastside Road is the first left after you cross the bridge.

Friends of Taunton Bay/ Frenchman Bay Conservancy  Joint 2015 Lecture Series
Lectures are at 7:00 p.m. on Fridays at Gordon’s Wharf in Sullivan

DIRECTIONS: Taunton Bay Education Center is located at Gordon’s Wharf in Sullivan. It is on Wharf Road off Taunton Drive; Taunton Drive is the first road off US Route 1 East of the Hancock-Sullivan Bridge.  Wharf Road is the second left off Taunton Drive (across from Track Road on the right). 

July 11 Mariaville Falls Trail Work Day

Meet at the preserve parking lot at 9:00 a.m. Please register at 207-422-2328 or
Volunteers should wear sturdy shoes (not sandals) and work clothes.  Please bring work gloves, drinking water, sunblock, hat/sunglasses, and bug spray.  Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own equipment (brush trimmers, hand saws, loppers, pruning shears, etc.), but are not expected to share their equipment with others.  We will also have equipment available for volunteers to use.  Directions to Mariaville Falls can be found here.

July 11 Kilkenny Cove/Old Pond Railway Trail Work Day (Yes, 2 work days on the same date!)

Meet at the WEST parking lot off Old Route One, nearest Kilkenny Cove, at 9:00 a.m.  Please register at 207-422-2328 or  Directions to Kilkenny Cove can be found here.
