I am asking for your support for one of my dear artist friends.

Kevin and Miyuki Clark, local gallery owners in this area, are facing the most difficult time in their lives.  This month they received sad news that Marie, their 36 year old daughter’s leukemia has returned with a very grim prognosis. Kevin and Miyuki dropped everything and left for Japan to be with her. Marie was admitted to the hospital in hopes that she qualifies for experimental treatment and medication that will allow her a few more memories with her 2 year old daughter and family.
The emotional challenges, ongoing medical costs and treatments, compounded by the expensive travel costs are overwhelming this family. Please help this family that has been so dear to our arts community.
Please support me in making this happen!  GoFundMe Site
Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions!

Calls and Opportunities

Lavonne Tarbox Crone will be conducting a critique for oil, acrylic and watercolor painters. She says, "I enjoy critiquing and regularly do it weekly with the class I teach.” Artists are invited to bring 3 images which do not need to be framed or matted. LaVonne will give insight into design elements, positive aspects of each painting and ideas for enhancement or ways to "fix it” as appropriate. She has taught classes in her home studio for many years and helped launch new painters into accomplished artists. She has received many awards for her work and is a member of several art organizations, including CAG, WSO, Watercolor USA and the National Watercolor Society.
"As a past beginning watercolorist in LaVonne’s classes and a recipient of her insightful critiques, I recommend this workshop. Critiques of any kind can be challenging, but they are also very helpful as you gain insights and observations that you might not have achieved by yourself. Critiques are growing opportunities. They have been for me and I credit LaVonne and others for enabling me to paint at a more professional level." - Alice Tetamore
Painting Critique: July 13, 2019, 1 to 5 pm Browsville Art Center, 255 Main St. Cost $15. Bring 3 pieces. To register, contact:
