Information Bulletin No.3

 

Introduction


Welcome to the third SBP Data Transfer System (DTS) information bulletin. If you missed the first two bulletins you can read them at: http://www.sustainablebiomasspartnership.org/data-transfer-system.
 

User feedback on DTS v0.5


Thank you to those who have tried DTS v0.5. Your feedback has been noted and some adjustments to the tool have been made as a result. For example:
  • The DTS can now pass a Transaction Claim by email to any customer, even if they do not yet have an SBP certificate. This allows organisations in the process of getting certified to begin receiving SBP Claims. Note that this is permitted under the current Standards. In future, Instruction Document 5A v1.1 will require that claims may only be passed on to Certificate Holders.
  • The 'Mass traded' field has been updated to allow reporting of tonnage to three decimal places, therefore, mass can be reported at the kg level where you or your customer require it.
  • Some additional explanatory notes have been added below the relevant data fields, which should make the data entry process much clearer.
If you haven’t already tried DTS v0.5, there is still time to do so before its use becomes mandatory on 1 October 2016. To test the system, please go to: https://sustainablebiomasspartnership.formstack.com/forms/dtsv0_5 and give us your feedback.
 

PINs


We will be sending PINs to all Certificate Holders shortly. Look out for an email from DTS@sustainablebiomasspartnership.org, which will contain your private PIN and an explanation of why the PIN is needed and how it should be used.
