Our first Annual Conference was a success! We look forward to the 2nd Conference in May.

AWIR met at the Sonesta Hilton Head in South Carolina. The first meeting was attended by 60 attendees with families and 18 pharma exhibitors and their families. With near perfect weather President Grace C. Wright opened the meeting with an educational event sponsored by Janssen utilizing a panel of women highlighting the diversity of rheumatologists and inequalities of pay for females. While enjoying Southern cuisine at the Beach Pavilion everyone socialized at the President’s gala event after the keynote.

We will return to Sonesta Hilton Head, SC with a new agenda and for more networking August 11-14, 2016.
