MARCH COMMUNITY COUNCIL MEETING
Tuesday, March 17
NO DINNER | Meeting at 7:30 p.m.

DIFFERENT LOCATION: Kennedy Heights Arts Center Lindner Annex

  • Brandon Lecrone from the City of Cincinnati DOTE will be present to answer questions about the Kennedy Avenue Bridge Replacement, set to begin April 8. Check out the most recent updates here.
  • Updates from the Pleasant Ridge CRC
  • Reports from our local police and fire departments
  • Updates regarding the Sap Run on April 4th—we still need volunteers!
  • Any relevant updates on the Comprehensive Community Plan
    • The Steering Committee's first meeting with the City is tentatively scheduled for Friday, March 13. Want to learn more? Email Mary Ray at mary@kennedyheights.org .

CINCINNATI STATE AND COHEAR
Image result for cohear logoCohear, a community engagement and strategy organization, is leading a conversation to try and brainstorm how Cincinnati State can be a better resource for parents and working families, especially as a community college pathway to a four-year degree. They want to hear from parents in the Silverton area, particularly those who may not have four-year degrees themselves, so that might include you! It also is an opportunity to meet directly with the Provost of Cincinnati State.

The discussion is going to be Wednesday 3/11 at 6:00 p.m. Food will be provided, and Cohear can help with transportation and childcare as needed. If you are interested, please contact the lead organizer, NIkita Anderson at Cohear: Nikita@wecohear.com
