You, the community, can vote on members of the Kennedy Heights Community Council for the 2019 year at the next Community Council meeting:

We have six positions up for election: President, VP of Planning, VP of Administration, Secretary, Treasurer and Member-At-Large. The Nomination Committee of the Board has ensured that at least one person has volunteered to be on the ballot for every position, but any KH resident can run for a spot. Contact on or before November 19th, 2018 to be included on the ballot.
14th Annual Winterfest on Friday, December 7th.
Winterfest is packed with fun, festive and FREE activities for all ages. Come meet your neighbors and share in the seasonal cheer! Proudly presented by Kennedy Heights Community Council, Pleasant Ridge Community Council, and Kennedy Heights Arts Center.
6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Kennedy Heights Arts Center Mansion | The festivities begin with s’mores, ornament making for kids, and performances by local choirs. Enjoy complimentary hot cocoa while you view the Annual Kennedy Collective exhibition “Emerge.” Browse our Art Shop & Holiday Art Market to pick up unique gifts created by local artists! Don’t miss the tree lighting at 6:30 p.m.
7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Kennedy Height’s Arts Center Lindner Annex | A family-friendly rockin’ party! Live music, holiday photos, savory and sweet dishes , a cash bar, and more. Don’t miss the international art exhibit featuring works of art by students from Cincinnati and our sister city, Kharkiv, Ukraine. Formal presentation at 7:15 p.m.

There are countless ways to volunteer or give back, right here in your neighborhood! Here are just a few:
  • Winterfest (December 7) needs volunteers. Join a planning session on November 6 or 27, or reach out to Mallory to find how you can help on the day of the event: 
  • Volunteer in our local schools as a tutor, or as part of the Local School Decision Making Committees. Contact the local school for more info--contact info is in the full newsletter on page 4.  
  • Become our local historian's apprentice! Learn "tricks of the trade" of how to research and archive our neighborhood's history. Email Kate at
  • Become a Friend of Kennedy Heights. Your gifts make neighborhood events and improvements possible. Donate online.
