There have been a lot of questions as to the location of the dumpster for this week's clean-up. The Neighborhood Blitz Dumpster is the orange dumpster at the corner of Kennedy and Montgomery

This dumpster is available for household items and yard waste. Tires can be piled up outside the dumpster.  If you have an item that can't make it to the dumpster, you can schedule a special pickup this Friday. If you know of a particularly trash-y spot in the neighborhood, or something that needs attention, report it through 591-6000.

The dumpster will be removed on Friday, June 28th by 9:00am. If dumpsters become full before Friday, staff will empty and bring it back. The following items are NOT permitted in the dumpster:
• Tires (but you may stack them outside the dumpster)
• Paints
• Hazardous Waste Materials

EDITOR'S NOTE: While electronics are accepted in the dumpster, electronic waste is a growing global concern. Your electronic waste can be taken to Cohen Recycling in Norwood any time throughout the year, or watch for community events led by Hamilton County Recycling and Solid Waste District.
Don't forget to help us clean up the vacant former Beverage Cave. Kennedy Heights Development Corporation (KHDC) will still need about 10 volunteers.

Any amount of time you can volunteer would be most appreciated. For more information, email Christine at or call 513-400-3525. Please bring gloves and wear covered shoes.
