Dear Families,
I am so excited to have you and your children return on Tuesday, August 23rd. It has been a busy summer with the office team working on facilities, teacher development, administrative development and general preparation for the new school year.
The campus looks fantastic. I want to thank our owner representative Mike Wassermann, our CBO Terese McNamee, Cathy Stienstra, and Martinez for all their hard work this summer making it all come together.
Staff has spent the last five days in training sessions and in their rooms getting ready for Tuesday. Training included a full day of work with our Columbia Teachers College Trainers introducing the new Reading Units of Study, and a full day of instructional technology training specifically getting ready for our transition to Google Chrome Books and Google Classroom in mid fall.
Looking forward to seeing you all.
Warmly,
Dr. Beth Polito
