Reader's Workshop
Reading develops students’ brains, provides a window into the world around them, and helps them in all school subjects. To foster a love of reading, WES is now implementing a new Reader's Workshop model to provide structure to the teaching of reading, especially designed to ensure students are provided the tools they need to flourish as readers.

Lice Protocol
Unfortunately, we often see an increase of lice on campus in the fall and winter months. Lice prevention requires regular checks at home. Wondering how to check for and treat lice? Download LICE 101 or pick up an info packet from the school office. If you determine your child has lice, please contact the school office and follow our school's lice protocol.
