Make your very own gold votive plaque as a gift to the Celtic gods worshipped long ago in Roman Britain. The fancier your plaque, the more you'll impress the gods!

This event will run in conjunction with our new exhibition "Talking to the Gods: Votive Plaques in Roman Britain" - see below.

Talking to the Gods: Votive Plaques from Roman Britain

1st March - 23rd April 2016

Archaeological illustrator Craig Williams presents a series of drawings of the Ashwell Hoard, a treasure trove of some 27 gold and silver objects found in a village just outside Cambridge which gives an insight into the religious beliefs of the Roman Britons.

Lift back in action

We're very glad to report that our broken lift has been repaired and is back in action. Many apologies for any inconvenience caused while it was out-of-order.

Last Saturday opening of term
Saturday 4th March is the last Saturday opening of Lent Term. Our next Saturday opening will be on 23rd April, at the beginning of Easter Term.
