Using technology to help people manage long term conditions
A new programme has launched in Sheffield to test how technology can be used to improve health and social care. It’s called the Perfect Patient Pathway, which is one of seven national NHS ‘Test Bed’ programmes, and it aims to support people of all ages to stay independent and well for as long as possible.
The programme will test lots of different technologies that will cover a range of physical and mental health conditions, and will include devices that can be used at home. It will look at how technologies can better help people manage their conditions.
Friday 22 July 2016 – choose either morning (10.30am - 1pm) or afternoon session (2pm to 4.30pm)
