We are an open community that supports the emergence of psychedelics as agents of transformation.
BPS is committed to creating and fostering an inclusive community where members of all races, genders, gender identities, religions, or sexual orientation are valued, respected, safe, and empowered.
Dear BPS Community,
Happy Autumn and New Moon Blessings!
We are grateful for the continued opportunities to be able to gather both in-person and virtually. We are excited to bring you a variety of events over the next month. As we begin to get into our colder months, we will be looking for spaces to continue to meet safely, preferably outside. If anyone has a space that we can gather for meetings and small events in the Baltimore metro area, we would love to hear from you. The ability to gather around a fire would be an added bonus. :)
Give us a follow on social media for the latest news and upcoming events.

A Medicine Music Meditation Presented by Sahffi Lynne
Thursday, October 7th
6:00pm-8:00pm
Zen Meditation Garden
3500 Parkdale Drive
Baltimore, MD 21211
Donation
Join Sahffi and the community of Baltimore Psychedelic Society for an evening of “Medicine Music Meditation,” a unique guided meditation experience where audiences will be invited to sit in silent meditation during the duration of a medicine music concert performance.
These concerts are designed to help you open your heart and relax your soul, with offerings of original and traditional medicine music and channeled messages. A group environment allows the listener to absorb the vibration of the sound and meanings of the words in a more focused and connected way, which in turn helps facilitate a deeper meditative experience.
Our meditation will move into sing-alongs and dancing at the end to move and enjoy the energy we create together. Please join us!
This is a donation-based event! There are a few ways that you can contribute.
Please donate through our BPS Eventbrite page.
You can donate to Sahffi directly via electronic payment.
Venmo is @Sahffi-Lynne

Ecstatic Dance in the Park
Sunday, October 17th
4:00-6:30pm
Zen Meditation Garden
3500 Parkdale Ave
Baltimore, MD 21211
$20
Join us for an evening of art and community in a beautiful, natural setting. Back by popular demand, we are thrilled to bring you our second Ecstatic Dance event in the beautiful Zen Meditation Garden.
Ecstatic Dance has been a form of creative expression throughout human history. It provides a chance to lose yourself in the rhythmic beat of the music, allowing your body to express itself and move freely in whatever way it desires. Dance is a way to experience life fully and completely in the present moment, and can bring profound meditative and even trance-like states. Dance can bring a greater connection to ourselves, mind, body and spirit, and it helps deepen our connection with others. It is a way to relieve stress and get in touch with emotions. This is a sober event, so that you can allow yourself to fully experience everything that comes up.
We will begin with a community circle, to set a few basic expectations and guidelines so that everyone feels safe and supported throughout this event. We will begin to move and stretch our bodies together, then as the music begins, we will explore movement on our own.
We will also end with a community circle to close and share our experiences.
Now onto the music! We are excited to be partnering with James Nasty again for this event! He played an amazing set last time that took us on a magical journey.
Baltimore, Maryland resident James Nasty excels at producing and DJing Baltimore club music while maintaining roots in turntablism and open format Djing. Nasty is locally iconic and globally respected. Voted the “Best DJ In a Club” in the Baltimore City Paper twice, he’s favored by Bmore club inventor Scottie B and is in heavy rotation during legends KW Griff and Pork Chop’s club mixes on Baltimore radio station 92Q. Globally, he's spun for Boiler Room and gained support from the likes of Bassnectar, Mace Pled, A-Trak, GTA, Anna Lunoe, Sirius XM Shade 45’s DJ Wonder, L-Vis
1990, Dj Uniique, Dave Nada / Nadastrom, Gorgon City and more. Time Out Singapore says "Stop being so serious and get loose to James Nasty. This is the kind of stuff coming out of Baltimore that’s really popular but still manages to break all the rules.
THIS IS A TICKETED EVENT. Please make your reservation through Eventbrite. We have a few energy-exchange tickets available for those who might be experiencing financial hardship. Please message us directly if you would like more details.
This is a beautiful space that we have been gifted to use for our events. LEAVE NO TRACE! We will all agree to take great care of the space and strive to leave it in excellent condition. Please be respectful of surrounding neighbors. They are aware of and in support of this event!

Community Integration Circle
Online via Zoom
https://us02web.zoom.us/j/82326494426
Tuesday, October 19th
7:00-9:00pm
Free
You are invited to join BPS for our Integration Talking Circle.
*Please plan to arrive on time, as we will not admit anyone to the circle after 7:05pm. This helps to create a safe container for vulnerable sharing.*
We offer a compassionate, welcoming place to land following your journey. It is a safe space to join in community to dialogue about explorations, transformation, safe practice, and touching into your higher intelligence. We firmly believe that the psychedelic experience is a way to connect deeply with yourself and the Circle is a path to integrating that experience.
We resonate with Entheogenic Research Integration & Education’s definition of integration: “the process by which the material accessed and insights gained in a [psychedelic] experience are incorporated over time into one’s life in a way that benefits the individual and their community.”
Supportive guidelines will be read at the beginning of the circle to ensure we agree with them. They encourage a supportive environment and safe container for the circle.
Please note that although Zoom is a relatively private platform, total security cannot be assured. Please use your own judgment and wisdom in deciding to share. Participants will be screened before entering the Zoom space.
