Start Here, Go Anywhere
A very warm welcome to everyone who is starting at, or returning to, Ayrshire College for 2019-20! Find out all you need to know about studying at Ayrshire College here.
Clearing events

We extended an open invite to the Ayrshire public to come to our campuses last week to discuss their options, after the SQA exam results were published.

Everyone who dropped in was able to find out which of our courses still have spaces, and received a decision on the day for any course they applied for.

There are still a few courses that have spaces available - act now and apply online!
Meet the Astronauts

To celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Apollo 11, we are hosting a 'Meet the Astronauts' event on Tuesday 27 August from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at our Ayr Campus.

Hear from 2 NASA astronauts, Michael Baker and Rick Hieb, about their experiences in space and how they became astronauts. Dr David Alexander, director of the Rice Space Institute, will also be in attendance.

Summer programme

62 young people in Ayrshire have spent their summer with us on a special programme delivered by East Ayrshire Council’s Opps4all, in partnership with our HIVE team.

For the past six years, school leavers and other young people who are unemployed or not in education have taken part in the summer programme, which helps to build up their confidence and teach them crucial team building skills.

We have made good progress towards mainstreaming equality in all that we do and in achieving our Equality Outcomes.

We are committed to further improving and developing our existing activities, as well as continuing to push boundaries, seek new opportunities and strengthen our equalities work.

Two of our Make-Up Artistry students have caught the eye of a leading make-up company with their impressive social media profiles.

Anastasia Beverly Hills approached Abbey Austin and Shanyn Boax after spotting their professional Instagram and Twitter accounts, and offered them both a set of products that are worth around £4,000.
