Scottish International Airshow

Did you see us in the STEM tent at the Scottish International Airshow in Ayr?

We had activities in construction, engineering, and painting (pictured). We also offered free hair, beauty and massage demos, and had an arts and crafts station for the kids.

We also hosted a CoderDojo Club – if you know a young person who is interested in learning to code email loraine.johnston@ayrshire.ac.uk to join the club.

We love coming to the Air Show and can't wait for the next one!
The HIVE Summer Programme

Over 40 young people took part in our four-week summer programme, delivered in partnership with East Ayrshire Council’s Opportunities for All.

Every participant has moved onto a positive destination - whether that is a college course, university course or employment.
Soup initiative

We are providing the opportunity for all students to access a free bowl of soup.

We believe that providing students with a warm and nutritious meal each day will assist them in their efforts to learn.

Students can claim their free soup and dinner roll by presenting their valid student card to the canteen staff during lunchtime on any working day.
