Robotics Scrimmage 2/18/17
Next Saturday, February 18, we will be travelling down to Columbus, GA for the day. Team members who are interested in being drivers or pilots should prepare to take the Quizlet this week in order to determine who will be on the Drive Team. We expect you will get lots of hands on time down in Columbus. Mrs Thomas will proctor those who want to take the test on Friday night (2/17/17).
Plans for next Saturday are as follows:
Meet at Rex Terra at 6:30am
Arrive Columbus 8:00am
Lunch provided (pizza)
Leave Columbus 4:00pm
Arrive Rex Terra 5:30pm
This will be our only opportunity to do a test run on an actual playing field prior to bag & tag.
Uniform of the day will be black Rex Machina t-shirt.
If you have to return early, Mr. Taylor has a very special engagement to get to and will be returning earlier in his personal vehicle. Let us know if you need to come back with him!
We will need snacks because it is a very long day and there really is no food/stores that are super close to the venue. Please bring in chips, slim jims, beef jerky, cut fruit, or anything else you enjoy snacking on. We have plenty of waters, so if you want you can bring Gatorade/Powerade, Mountain Dew, Dr. Pepper, Coke, Capri Suns, or any other individually packed drink.
We will need a photo copy of the front and back of your medical insurance card for the mentors to have in case of emergency.
Parents/families are welcome to attend.
