Welcome to ANMF Tas Branch's fortnightly eNews letter. 

Ratios Save Lives — Ballot open now

As members are aware, ANMF have been involved in negotiations for a new Enterprise Agreement since October last year. Members endorsed and commenced an industrial campaign in December and, as a direct result of your support, the State Government made a formal offer.
Ballots are now open and we encourage you to lodge your opinion.  If you did not receive an email or letter with the EBA information booklet, along with link to the ballot survey, please contact our membership department, with your current employment and contact details.
We encourage all public sector members to read the information booklet, which can also be found on the
ANMF website, and take the opportunity to vote on the State Government offer. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the ANMF information center on 6223 6777 or email

ANMF are seeking a dynamic business-minded nurse to join our team, they will have responsibility for the Southern Tasmanian, Royal Hobart Hospital, portfolio.

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (Tasmanian Branch) is the leading professional and industrial body supporting nurses, midwives and care staff. The Organiser will work with ANMF Members, Workplace Representatives and employers to solve industrial and profession matters facing nurses and midwives in their place of work. The Organiser role will allow the successful candidate to build on both their industrial and professional nursing knowledge, giving a solid foundation for career progression at ANMF or any in any field of nursing.
