In true Hikari Ryuza fashion, December doesn’t slow down for us!  In the midst of celebrating with family and friends, we have a number of new activities on the horizon.




  • Hikari Ryuza Center Holiday Closure Dates
No classes from Dec 24th – Jan 4th
(Dr. Crimi and Prof. Shizumi will continue all private classes and patient/client appointments as scheduled)


  • New Website
The staff at the Hikari Ryuza Center has been working for months on rebranding our school to incorporate and highlight our expanded health and wellness programs.  Take a look at our new website and let us know what you think!

  • 2016 Planning
During the break we will be putting together the 2016 Hikari Ryuza Center calendar.  If you have any input, please email us and we will be sure to list all relevant submissions.

  • Nevada County Medical Practitioners Outreach
The Center has been reaching out to Medical Professionals to educate the community about the Biophotonic scanner and supplementation program. If you have a connection with anyone in the Medical Community, we’d like to partner with you to spread the word!

  • Free Health Consultation for a Friend
Professor Shizumi is offering a one-hour complimentary health consultation for friends of the Hikari Ryuza Center. If you know someone who can benefit from the Center’s health and wellness regimen, please spread the word!
  • Free Bujutsu Class or Dance Class for a Friend
Share the fun with your friends!  Invite a friend to a free Bujutsu class or a free dance class. In gratitude, receive a half hour private class with Prof Shizumi. Your choice: Bujutsu, Dance, Health topic or Seifukujitsu treatment.

  • Free Antioxidant scans at The Open Book 

Started in November, and now in full swing, every Wednesday, Professor Shizumi volunteers at The Open Book in Grass Valley, and she has their scanner with her!  Come by for your monthly scan, and bring a friend so you can arm them with information too. 

When: Every Wed, 10:00am – 2:00pm
Where: The Open Book, 671 Maltman Drive, Grass Valley

  • January Detox & Fitness Challenge

No better way to start off the New Year. Our previous challenges have been great successes. This one will be Better!!! Professor Shizumi is putting on another challenge for us!  This one is all about detoxifying and rejuvenating! Learn how to detoxify your body safely and effectively, gather practical tips and advice for maintaining a balanced diet rich in the nutrients that your body requires, and effective exercise programs that are fun and easily incorporated into your daily life. This 22 day challenge blends Integrative Nutrition and Metabolic Factor theories for a manageable, but high impact wellness course.  Most importantly, end this challenge feeling better and more confident for the rest of your life!  

When: Each Monday in January 2016

Come CELEBRATE with us! Our Holiday party will be in lieu of class on Fri., Dec. 18th.  Feel free to bring family and friends along too!  We’ll be making Stone Soup, so email if you are attending and I will let you know which ingredients we need. We’ll add it to the soup and see how it turns out. ;)
