The following functions are available at the moment:
Images with free licenses

Image Downloads

Out of more than 230,000 images in the database, you will be able to download the original image files of nearly 15,000 images which have been published on Structurae using a free license (such as Creative Commons) or are part of the public domain. You can re-use these images provided you follow the license terms.

The download is one via a button that appears on the image page which you can reach anywhere by clicking on the image ID number in the image caption. More such images are uploaded regularly!

Main span of cable-stayed bridges by year of construction

For nearly all bridge types, you can now find diagrams showing the main span lengths of bridges in the database plotted against the year of completion. Similar scatter plots are available for the height of dams or the length of tunnels.

The size of the underlying datasets is still being increased so check this feature out regularly!

On nearly ever data page, be it a structure, a person, a company or a publication, it is possible to submit messages to Structurae directly on the page. You can thus provide additional information or point out errors more easily and without having to write an e-mail.

In addition to the above, your personal account allows you to edit the information related to your person and manage your newsletter subscription.
