Nonprofit Excellence (CNE)
Works with nonprofits of all types and sizes to be stronger, more resilient and equitable. We help staff, boards and volunteers make meaningful connections to resources and one another.
In CNE's latest blog, "Resilient Nonprofits Face Challenges and Opportunities,Director Susie Polnaszek" analyzes local nonprofits' survey responses, sharing a glimpse into how they are doing now. Read four takeaways from the 2022 Nonprofit Survey (and more resources related to workplace well-being) here. 1. Challenges related to the pandemic are far from behind us.

We are actively recruiting Spanish speaking volunteer mediators to join our team! We offer training scholarships for our Community Mediation Training and the prerequisite Conflict Management Skills Training in exchange for a year of volunteering as a mediator with our youth programs specifically.

Our free online courses cover dozens of topics, including Alzheimer's basics and caregiving advice. Access these online programs 24 hours a day.
Positive Discipline offers free
In-person workshops for parents/guardians of children 0 - 6 and 6 - 11 Thursdays, February 23 - April 20, 6:00 - 8:00 PM
RC Family Center, Watsonville
Topics will include Parenting styles, self-esteem, joys & challenges, buy-in from children, and connection before correction. Childcare and snacks will be provided.
Our Nonprofit Members believe in the power of collaboration and resource sharing to strengthen everyone’s ability to meet the challenges of providing excellent programs and services to our community. Membership dues will be increasing July 1, 2023.
