Welcome to the St Barbe Friends Newsletter
Open House on Fri 3 December

We are delighted to invite you to join us for an Open House to celebrate the achievement of a fantastic year for St Barbe, despite all the hurdles flung at us. Pop in any time between 4.30 and 6.30pm to meet the staff and volunteers who keep us rolling and learn about our plans for next year.  Best of all hear about our magnificent new acquisition - The Celtic Hoard.

Pick up a copy of our programme of talks and events for 2022 and put them in your diary. Mulled wine and mince pies will be served.

Community Event

New Art Group
In 2022 a new art group is starting at St Barbe. We're inviting creative adults who have a learning disability to studio sessions which will offer time, space and materials for them to develop their own practice. The workshops aren't taught, but members will be offered guidance and mentoring to support their own artistic ambitions.  READ MORE

Celebrating people who make things by the investment of time in making the work, a quiet, thoughtful act of care and value.

All Talks take place at the Baptist Church in New Street opposite St Barbe.  Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm.
