SkyDeck would like to take a moment and thank each and every one of you for your ongoing interest and support. We have weathered a global pandemic together and are slowly moving our program back into a hybrid model with some programming for the Cohort Accelerator in person. Fingers and toes crossed, we very much hope that by the start of the next batch we will be able to welcome founders from all our programs back in person.
As we end 2021, here are a few highlights we wanted to share with you:
- 252 startups came through our program this year.
- The SkyDeck Advisor and Mentor network has now grown to 412 individuals. 154 attended at least one Startup Meet & Greet Session this year.
- The Global Innovation Partners Program was re-branded to the Innovation Partner Program (IPP) and we accelerated 12 startups from Korea, 13 startups from Japan, and 8 startups from Taiwan.
- The SkyDeck staff was thrilled to add a new member, welcoming Leila Zhu (Program Coordinator) to the team.
- Across our community, our founders, alumni, advisors, mentors, corporate and resource partners, and sponsors all add to the spirit and enthusiasm that are the hallmark of our family.
We have been busy as ever and strive to deliver on our mission to be a top global accelerator and support the growth of UC Berkeley entrepreneurship.
