SkyDeck kicks off Midas Series with a fireside chat featuring Velo Ventures' Scott Tierney

Velo Ventures Managing Partner Scott Tierney, and SkyDeck Fund Partner Brian Bordley, share their
insights on what they look for when vetting early stage startups for investments at fireside chat.

Berkeley SkyDeck has launched a new series of fireside chats starting with the current cohort. Each cohort, startups will be able to join the SkyDeck Midas and SkyDeck Unicorn Series. The midas series will give SkyDeck founders an opportunity to network with various VCs in Silicon Valley, whereas the Unicorn Series will expose them to a slew of tech founders that have been able to achieve breakout success. Chon Tang, the Founding Partner of the SkyDeck Fund said, “I think one of the great benefits of an accelerator is the intimate access that founders can get to VCs and founders. The insights and perspectives they can glean from a talk can often be invaluable to founders and that is something we strive to provide.”
