About This Workshop:
When patients present with hostility or avoidance, they are implicitly communicating a history of attachment trauma that is haunting them in the here and now. Feelings of shame, rage and contempt, beliefs of hopelessness and helplessness, and an interpersonal disposition of mistrust are all external signals of what’s happening neurobiologically in response to deeply wired-in expectations of threat. AEDP—with its demonstrated success in “operationalizing” research findings on attachment and neurobiology-- offers specific methods for setting in motion a person's positive transformational processes toward healing.  Read more here . . .
