Dear Friends,

I have spent the last six months focusing on completing my third novel, The Purest Goldediting, proofreading, proofreading again—and it is now almost reading for publication.

You can pre-order it here.

I am self-publishing this novel and have created my own press, Dancing Aspen Press. My husband, Clay, who is also my cover artist, is currently working on a logo.

It has been a great deal of work and a lot of new learning. I couldn’t have done it without excellent help from Susan Ring deRosset (Draft Horse Writing) who did the editing; Margaret Pevec (Scribes Associated) who proofread it for me; Ann Erwin who is working with me on design and layout; and Jeanie Williams (Pen Power) who is guiding me in publicizing it. Create Space will be my printer.

The Purest Gold is now up on Amazon, available for pre-order, and will be released February 1, 2017. I am excited to have come this far.

In my last newsletter I spoke of doing an interview with WebbWeaver books for my second novel, Never Again. After considerable technical shenanigans, I finally found someone who could edit it, and it is now up on my website where you can listen to it without the advertisements.

On my blog, I am currently doing a series based on the underlying themes of The Purest Gold. My first one is already up, One Becomes Two, about the process of individuation.

Song of Eliria has been on hold through all this, but Harriet, the protagonist, is calling me, eager to tell me the rest of her story. I hope to get back to her soon, and the joy of the creative process, which I have been missing.

As always, I appreciate your interest in my literary endeavors, and wish you joy in the upcoming holiday season.
