Wood Review of Local Safeguarding Children Boards
In December 2015, Government ministers asked Alan Wood CBE (former Director of Children's Services in Hackney) to undertake a review of the role of and functions of Local Safeguarding Children Boards within the context of local strategic multi-agency working. The review was published at the end of May and findings will inform the Children and Social Work Bill. Read the Wood Review, the Government Response and the Children and Social Work Bill
Learning from Case Reviews - New 'Think Family' Poster!
Based on learning from local reviews, CHSCB has produced a new poster which reinforces the importance of 'thinking family'. Download the poster HERE to display around your work area! 
City Learning - Multi-agency Case Audits (MACAs)
Each year, CHSCB undertakes two rounds of multi-agency case audits in City of London. Learning from the most recent round is now available; make sure to discuss the LEARNING with your colleagues or in team meetings!
Child Sexual Exploitation
Say Something if you See Something - DVD available!
As part of National CSE Awareness Day on 18 March 2016, the CHSCB launched a range of resources, including a film designed by young people for young people. DVD copies of the film will be sent to schools in City of London and Hackney. You can also watch the short film online HERE!
