City & Hackney
CHSCB Staff Survey

Each year, the CHSCB issues a staff survey to help inform the key priorities for safeguarding children and young people across the City of London and Hackney.

This year, we would like to hear from you to help measure confidence in practice, learning from case reviews and knowledge of local priorities.

The survey is confidential and should take five to ten minutes to complete. Thank you for your cooperation!

A webinar with Jim Gamble QPM

Kill the e-safety to protect children on-line

When:  Thursday 17th November 2016, 11:00am
Where: At your desk
In this powerful webinar, Jim Gamble, the Independent Chair of the CHSCB, will openly discuss the challenges of child protection in a world ruled by technology.  He will assert that, if we truly wish to protect children, a simple e-safety policy is no longer sufficient.
In a time where the likes of Whisper, Kik and Snapchat are only a tap away, safeguarding strategies need to be developed in the context of how children use technology.  Jim will explain how this is done by providing the full spectrum, including children, parents, carers and professionals, with the knowledge they need to make the right choices.

Delivered via The Virtual College.  Register HERE.

Take a few minutes to
watch the film.

If you’d like to find out more, please email Julia Hodson.
