Help Give Richmond Hill a Spring Cleaning!

Clean Up, Green Up Weeks are back April 22 to May 6 and you’re invited to help protect our natural environment by volunteering to clean up around your neighbourhood! Residents, businesses, community groups and schools are encouraged to take part – we’ll provide gloves, bags and collect the filled bags.

Free Lake Wilcox Parking Permits for Residents

Pay Parking for Lake Wilcox Park and Oak Ridges Community Centre is in place April 1 to September 30 each year. Richmond Hill residents can go online to get a free 2022 parking permit. To help manage traffic and parking in the surrounding area, carpooling is strongly encouraged.

Take a 15-minute Walk for a Chance to Win

While you’re out for a walk in your neighbourhood this month, take a look around at the features and amenities you have nearby. Is there a coffee shop or corner store you can’t live without? Do you wish there was a pharmacy or flower shop closer to home? Is there a park or piece of public art that you love? Take a few minutes to tell us about your experience and enter for a chance to win one of six $25 gift cards.

Spring Thaw is on its Way

As we head towards spring and the snow begins to melt, excess runoff can happen. While the City's stormwater ponds help to prevent flooding, here are some ways that you can plan ahead to protect your home and help avoid any water damage.

When is Noise Allowed?

Did you know the City's Noise By-law outlines limits and restricted times for noises of various types? Loading and unloading activities (including garbage pick-up) must occur between 7 a.m. and 9 p.m. with the exception of delivery of goods to retail businesses, restaurants, hotels and distribution centres.

Join Our Team!

We're hiring for a variety of roles, including crossing guards, summer camp counsellors, lifeguards, program instructors and summer parks positions. Come join our team!
