👋Welcome to our very first edition of Sailist's Fortnightly Roundups! Our goal here is simple. It's an extension of why Sailist was built in the first place - to help founders navigate the Australian ecosystem and find all of its best programs, funding and resources in one place.

If we have done this well, Roundups should be founders' go-to resource for navigating accelerator & VC-verse in major Australian cities.


What you can expect from Roundups is weekly ecosystem updates alternating between Accelerator and VC Roundups:

The SparkLabs Cultiv8 Accelerator Program is an agtech accelerator program, now accepting applications for its 2021 intake. The program provides successful applications with 8 months of strategic and dedicated support, capital funding support, business office space, structured learning modules and access to up to $100,000AUD for an agreed equity stake.

If you live in the Wodonga area, have an innovative idea, are building something from scratch or are wanting to take an existing product into a new market, this program is for you.

Wodonga Accelerator Program

The Techstars SportsTech Fast-Track Program is for Victorian sportstech startups at any stage, who are thinking of applying to the Techstars SportsTech Melbourne Accelerator program. Other Australian-based startups that would be willing to relocate to Victoria will also be considered.

Sector Focus: Sportstech
Stage of startups accepted: Early stage
Key dates: Apply as soon as you can. Startups will be selected based on criteria and on a first come, first served basis.

🇦🇺 Australia-wide
The Business Research and Innovation Initiative (BRII) details up to 5 challenges that government currently faces in policy and service delivery areas. You'll get up to $100,000 to conduct a feasibility study, and if successful, up to $1 million to develop a proof of concept. You will retain intellectual property rights and the right to sell your product or solution in domestic and global markets.
