IAS 2015: Review of clinics in Eastern Europe, southern Europe of patients with HVI diagnosed with MDR-TB
According to the presentation by Anna Schultze ‘Major challenges in clinical management of TB/HIV co-infected patients in Eastern Europe compared with Western Europe and Latin America’, patients in Eastern Europe where more likely to die from MDR-TB than those in Latin America and southern Europe. Patients who died in the Eastern European clinics had either not received drug susceptibility testing or had been placed on drugs that were not active against their TB, despite the testing. Конференция IAS-2015: Обзор клинических исследований пациентов с ВИЧ и диагнозом МЛУ-ТБ, в странах Восточной и Южной Европы и Латинской Америки
По данным презентации Анны Шульце: «Основные проблемы в клиническом ведении пациентов с ко-инфекцией ТБ/ВИЧ в Восточной Европе в сравнении с Западной Европой и Латинской Америкой» (документы на англ.языке), пациенты в Восточной Европе имели больший риск умереть от МЛУ-ТБ, чем в Латинской Америке и странах южной Европы. Пациенты, умершие в клиниках Восточной Европы, либо не прошли тест на чувствительность к противотуберкулезным препаратам, либо получали лекарства, которые не были активны в отношении ТБ, несмотря на результаты тестирования. Global Fund Partnership Forum Ends in Bangkok
The Partnership Forum brought together more than 120 partners from civil society, local communities, youth groups, people living with the diseases and members of parliament, among other participants, to a two-day gathering to focus on developing the Global Fund’s strategy for 2017-2021. В Форуме партнерства приняли участие свыше 120 участников, представляющих организации гражданского общества, местные сообщества, группы молодежи, людей, живущих с заболеваниями, а также членов парламентов стран, которые провели двухдневную встречу для выработки стратегии Глобального Фонда по борьбе со СПИДом, Туберкулезом и Малярией на 2017- 2021 гг. New tender from ECDC targets five EU states with capacity support in MDR-TB prevention and control
European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC) has announced a tender to conclude a framework service contract on providing capacity support to the high-priority Member States (Bulgaria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Romania) in prevention and control of MDR-TB. Click here for more.

European Commission Health Programme call for proposals released
The European Commission has put out a call for proposals as part of its health programme. To be eligible you must be an EU Member State. Work on Tuberculosis has been selected as one of the criteria for funding. Click here for more.

Объявлен конкурс грантов от программы здравоохранения Европейской Комиссии
Европейская Комиссия объявила новый конкурс по приему заявок в рамках своей программы здравоохранения. Для того, чтобы принять участие в конкурсе, страна должна быть членом ЕС. В качестве одного из критериев для подачи заявок была выбрана деятельность борьбе с ТБ. Подробнее можно прочесть здесь.
