Dear  Friend,
It's the middle of June already, summer is here. The garden is full of exciting plants, a small selection of which are highlighted here. Our aim is to propagate and produce plants from the garden and our propagating team are forever busy. New stock is becoming available almost on a daily basis and the nursery sales area is looking almost as colourful and as vibrant as the garden.
If you can't find what you are looking for then just ask, our experienced staff are on hand. We are still mailing plants so if you can't make it in person then please visit our comprehensive website at www.bethchatto.co.uk
We look forward to welcoming you.

Allium cristophii

This amazing allium makes a dazzling sphere, sometimes the size of a small football, made up from almost a hundred metallic lilac-purple stars. The long lasting seed-heads dry in perfect shape (but will lose their colour over time) and look great hung in a window or from the ceiling.
Digitalis purpurea f. albiflora
Although a biennial we offer pot-grown plants of this lovely form of our native foxglove. Let them seed. Most seedlings come true but if any have purple leaf stalks they will have purple flowers. Remove these to keep strain pure. Grows to 1.4m
Pimpinella major ‘Rosea’
This enchanting cow parsley-like plant carries flat heads of rose-pink tiny flowers over several weeks in midsummer. Happy in ordinary soil, but preferring damp rather than dry conditions. Grows to approx 90cm. - description taken from Beth's Handbook.
We have just released our 2016 calendar with a beautiful photo for each month of the year, taken by one of our staff here at The Beth Chatto Gardens. It is available in the shop and on our website.
We love hearing from you about our gardens, tearoom, our newsletters and the overall service and experience you have with us. We would welcome any feedback you might have. You can get in touch by email, Facebook, phone or visit our website.
