Dear  Friend,
All of a sudden its Chelsea Flower Show week and some of our team will be visiting on Monday and Wednesday to see what's looking good.
Certain plants we always associate with Chelsea and this week we highlight Euphorbia, Polemonium and the unusual biannual Smyrnium perfoliatum, a plant usually grown from freshly collected seed, which we will be offering this summer.
If you cant make it to Chelsea or do not fancy the hustle and bustle of a trip to London then why not pay us a visit. We are often asked which is the best time to come and see the gardens and its hard to beat late springs display over the coming weeks,

Euphorbia cyparissias
A very attractive ground-covering Euphorbia. With short running stems, narrow foliage and heads of lime-green flowers. It's charming to pick and flowers early summer. Grows to about 30cm.
Polemonium reptans 'Lambrook Mauve' has large heads of the prettiest silky lilac-mauve flowers. It is perfect among flowering ajugas, aquilegias and Bowles golden grass. Grows to about 40cm.
Smyrnium perfoliatum (Perfoliate Alexanders)
The airy, sulphur yellow flowers make a wonderful addition to the woodland garden or mixed border. Best in part shade, somewhere where it can be allowed to self-seed. Excellent cut flower.

We love hearing from you about our gardens, tearoom, our newsletters and the overall service and experience you have with us. We would welcome any feedback you might have. You can get in touch by email, Facebook, phone or visit our website.
