Shabbos Schedule

This erev Shabbos, Parshas Pekudei, neiros should be lit by 5:41 with mincha to follow at 5:50. Please remember to repeat kerias shema after 6:41pm. 

All teens are invited to an oneg Shabbos at the Bleicher home, 153 Keats Avenue, beginning at 8:30pm.


Kiddush is sponsored by Al Martin out of gratitude to Hashem for Lois's improvement and with continued hopes and prayers for a refuah sheleimah.

Rabbi Bleicher's shiur at 4:45 will be the 3rd in a series commemorating the upcoming 30th yertzeit of Rav Moshe Feinstein zt"l and is entitled, "Egg Donations."

Mincha will begin at 5:30pm
followed by seudah shlishis during which we will continue Maseches Peah and discuss another fascinating question posed to Rav Yitzchak Zilberstein. Maariv will begin and Shabbos will end at 6:46

Please remember to change your clocks as we "Spring Forward" at 1am Motzei Shabbos. Please note that beginning this week, because mincha b'zeman is at 6:50, there will no longer be a late maariv minyan at 7:30.


Rabbi Goldstone's Monday night Gemara shiur will begin at 7:30pm.

Hachnasas Orchim Opportunity - 
A gentleman from Boro Park is looking for hospitality for Shabbos for a few weeks while his wife is in rehab at Trinitas Hospital. If you're interested in hosting him for sleeping only (he does not require meals), please contact Rabbi Bleicher either via email or at (917) 803-0381.

Ira Forman, US Special Envoy to Monitor & Combat Anti-Semitism, Hon. Irwin Cotler, former Canadian Minister of Justice, Dr. Deborah Lipstadt of Emory University and more. Wednesday, March 16th - The JEC Alumni Network is honored to present a memorial tribute to Ezra Schwartz, Hy"d, son of Ruth (Senecal) Schwartz, (Bruriah class of 1989)  featuring remarks by Ruth Schwartz and Shani Simkowitz, Executive Director of the Gush Etzion Foundation. The event, including light refreshments, will be held at Bruriah High School on Wednesday night, March 16th, at 7:30pm. Proceeds from the evening will be earmarked to build a lookout in Ezra's memory on the Boys Promenade in Gush Etzion which collectively honor the memories of Ezra Schwartz Hy"d, Naftali Frankel Hy"d, Gilad Shaer Hy"D and Eyal Yifrah Hy"d. Combat BDS - In light of recent attempts by the BDS movement worldwide to boycott and restrict the sale of Israeli products, an initiative was begun to encourage consumers to purchase Israeli-made products for mishloach manos (and year round). Wednesday, March 30th - On Wednesday evening, March 30th at 8pm, the Union YM-YWHA  invites the community to a special community event commemorating the yertzeit of Reb Elimelech of Lizhensk, the Noam Elimelech, in a program entitled, "Reb Elimelech and the Chassidic Legacy of Brotherhood" including a discussion with Rabbi Hanoch Teller.
