End the last Shabbos of the year off on a high with another inspiring lecture for women by Jackie Engel, entitled, "Rosh Hashana: Unlock the Power & Create the Year of Your Dreams." Jackie  is a psychologist, international speaker, former teacher at Neve Yerushalayim and currently the director of SouledNYC as well as the Jewish Student Leaders Foundation. Pruzbol - The observance of shemita this year most directly affects those living in Israel. However, as we approach the end of 5775, there is one shemita-related item in which even we in chutz l'aretz can participate: the mitzvah of shemitas kesafim, shemita nullifying loans. Our observance of shemitas kesafim nowadays is widely understood to be a mitzvah d'rabanan; one that allows creditors to continue to collect loans by assigning them to a beis din through the instrument of pruzbol. The Vaad Harabanim of Greater Elizabeth have prepared a pruzbol form that is effective for both Ashkenazim and Sefardim and are pleased to share it with you so that you can partake in this mitzvah. Click here to download a copy of the pruzbol for 5775.

Stop Iran! - Please call Senator Cory Booker and urge him to follow the lead of his New Jersey Democratic colleagues in publicly opposing and planning to vote against the deal. Senator Booker's number is (202) 224-3224.

Best wishes for a wonderful (erev) Shabbos!
