Nearly 300 community members, leaders and youth convened at this groundbreaking community summit on improving outcomes from birth to career for Santa Fe children and youth.  Welcome speech by the Mayor Javier Gonzales and Superintendent Joel Boyd kicked off the Summit.  After a packed agenda including Youth Presentation and Video, Plenary Session and in-depth breakout sessions, the day ended with a powerful Call for Action.  Participants signed a commitment form to continue working together as a Collective Impact Partner.

We want to again thank all the participants, co-hosts, partners, and the Summit financial sponsors – GradNation Campaign / AT&T, City of Santa Fe, Santa Fe Community Foundation, Brindle Foundation, Simon Charitable Foundation and the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce.

Visit the Summit Website to access Summit media gallery and presentations and (if you haven’t done so already) sign the Collective Impact Partner commitment form.

REPORT:  Educational Attainment, Career Pathways and Workforce Development in Santa Fe

What are the opportunities for improving educational attainment, career pathways, and workforce development in Santa Fe?
Read the preliminary findings from the survey, interviews and research conducted by the New Mexico Voices for Children.
The findings will inform collaborative action plans for the Mayor's Children, Youth and Families Community Cabinet and the Santa Fe Birth to Career Collaboration. The inputs from the Mayor's Youth Summit and the Opportunity Santa Fe Community Summit will also be considered in the collaborative action plans and on-going efforts.
